What a U.P. StudEnt is NOT..

All of us students in U.P. are also the same as other normal students on other schools. But I know that they look forward to us as more superior than them. They would always think and say that if you are in U.P, you are very intelligent. I think I am not that intelligent. There are also a lot of students who are also intelligent but studies on another school. If someone would ask me what school I am from and when I answers U.P., they would always say that I am very intelligent. I think I am not that intelligent. I don't believe tat there are people who are not intelligent in this world. You just need to be very dedicated to your studies to achieve your dreams.
Some people outside our campus define University if the Philippines' students as nerds. Well....we are absolutely not nerds! We are just dedicated to our studies as I have said earlier. We do this so that we could help our country when we will graduate in collage. It is not useful if they call us "ISKOLARS NG BAYAN" if we are not dedicating ourselves to the people. We would only waste all the taxes paid by all the people of the Philippines.We are also just like the students on the other schools (exactly not all schools) that we want also to have fun always but regarding in our studies we are very serious. We are also just like them who wears clothes that are hip today.

Some also said that we, Upians are very proud of our selves. I think that being one of the Upians is one thing that you can be proud of. If you love and like your school you would also be very proud of it. We are not that kind of persons that always boast all of our works and achievements. I think most of us are still humble. We don't do things like teasing other schools and discriminating them. I think we are not that kind of persons who look ourselves as very superior among the rest of the students on the other schools.

Here are also some thing that University of the Philippines' students are really are ....

In our room , in the second year Benton we have this kind of syndrome... the last minute syndrome where in we work this on the date that it is needed. Sometimes we always say," Ay! unya na lang ..Ugma pa bitaw ang deadline.." in our dialect. But when tomorrow comes that time we would work. Some of us looks like bees, going here and there. Some are reading, answering assignments and making some projects we are all busy then!

Another thing that most of us are lazy in terms of cleaning our classroom. When there are no classroom checking or no visitors would come, we would not clean our classroom. That's why we our teachers always scold us.

Now, these were all the things what a U.P. student is not.
